32K Gen set

Good Morning
The saga continues. I have a number of questions about the gen set. First what happened, last Oct the main fuel pump the one in the tank failed. It was replaced and works fine. To replace the pump you must drop the fuel tank so far so good. Got home winterized the MH ran gen set it started ok ran a short while and quit. Found fuel system info on line determined that the gen set fuel pump and filters were bad most likely never changed and this an 08 coach. Got the parts changed them out nada.

As you know you can not see the top of the fuel tank, my guess is a line is pinched. I tried air in nothing I tried to syphon nothing. Is there away to get at the tank from the top, through the floor. Dropping the tank is a major job. And we all know a dealer will kill me. Any other thoughs and or info will be great.

Thanks Steve Lambert

I'd run the tank as low as you dare to reduce weight, then crawl underneath with a decent floor jack. Support the tank and then loosen the straps holding the tank in place and drop the tank about 1/2". Then try blowing or sucking the generator fuel line. If it now is open, you know it's a pinched line. You can try to wiggle the fuel line to a place it won't pinch or take it back to the original shop that removed and installed the tank and get them to make it right.
