Have my MH on a pad with full hookups. I start it every month. It did not start this month. We began to diagnose the problem. Found the distributed cap and rotor shot. Replaced them. Still no go. Checked all fuses and breakers. All OK. Checked fuel pump reset button. O K. Decided to put a diagnostic tester and could not find connector. Researched on Line and many calls later found out this year model did not have OBD 2 on it.
Fuel pump was replaced 3 years ago with about 7k miles on it. What have I left out? Is there a scan tool that will work?
Also light switch was not letting anything but headlights working. When I jiggled the pull knob just a little they would come on. I replaced both parts but did not replace the pull switch. Could that be the problem? By the way I am no good with an ohm meter.

Will it turn over with the starter?

I don't see where the light switch would have anything to do with the coach starting. Did you check all the electrical connections? You really didn't say if it is actually turning over. Check the fuel filter as well.

The light switch is separate problem. Have not checked the engine fuel filter but the generater has had every thing replaced and it too started. Both engine and gen will turn over and both has fire so we suspect fuel pump. But it is only 3years old. I don't know how to test it.
Will keep looking. Thanks for the input.

Pour a teaspoon of gas down the throttlebody. Hit hit starter. If it runs momentarily you have a fuel delivery problem. are you sure you have spark? Could be your ign. module.

I talked to a fleetwood tech.he told me how to diagnose the fuel pump. Found it to be shot. My brother in law helped me to replace it. We siphoned 60 gallons of gas and then dropped the tank. That years model had 4 upgrades to the fuel pump and still no guarantees. He did however tell me to get the replacement pump at a Ford Dealership. We found the generator was also supplied by the fuel pump. After installation she started right away. Now if I could find a chassis manual for a '95 Southwind Ford Fleetwood I would be a happy camper.
Again thanks for the help and support.
