I am looking around to buy a very reasonable priced motorhome to see whether we like this way of traveling (we used to have a 24' TT)
I am currently looking at a 1998 33 feet long Pace Arrow Vision. This unit has almost all options one would want (we do not want slide outs), including drivers door with power window, solar charger, outside stereo radio, electric captain chairs, levelers, camera, etc. The MH has 36,484 miles on the clock and the 5500 W Onan generator shows 123 hrs and has a Ford chassis and engine.
They want to have $18900 for the unit, and that price is just about $500 more than the NADA low price.
Is the Pace arrow a unit that can be recommended? Are there any specifics (beside the common MH purchase guidelines from this forum) I should be looking foe with a Pace Arrow? any weak points? What do you feel about the price? The owner is desperate to sell because he wants to buy a house and need his credit rating cleared (hes says.
The motorhome is located in California, and we are in Wisconsin. One of my wife's nephews lives close to the location and could take a look at it.
What do you feel, is it worth the while to pursue this?
Any advise will be welcome!
