99 Pace Arrow 37 engine issue

We lost a couple engines;;; I allways thought that the engine should last 100.000 miles; The machanics at both gerages said the same thing... (this will be disputed) The gas engines are not designed To pull all/most of the time; That"s were the diesel comes in, That engine is designed to pull Long stroke + slow burning fuel It pushs all the way down the stroke; Buy a main line coach and if you plan on keeping it Buy diesel You won't be dissapointed, Happy travels;; Life is good

That sounds excessive, what motor do you have?

Take your time....everybody wants to push it. I'm on my fifth gasser, no engine, no trans problems. Hills I take it easy, no rush. Gassers will pull all day long, within their limits. I swap MH's to go larger, my old ones are still on the road. "Old ones", I still have an old one, 1988 with 80, 000 plus miles.
