AC Issues

We have a 2012 Bounder Classic 30C. We have always struggled with the front AC. The sensor is on the curb side wall by the passenger seat. It seems that it's always in the sun (from the outside; it isn't under the awning). Getting the coach ready for a trip next weekend. It is mild here in OH, so I set the AC to 74, just to make sure everything was working. It was definitely cool in the coach, but the unit was still pumping out cold air. Outside temp was around 78, but coach air wouldn't shut off (auto) until I set it above 80. I don't have the same problem with the rear AC. But, that sensor is on an inside wall. Any ideas or similar problems. Not a huge deal sitting here in the driveway, but I don't want the AC cracking all day long while we are at a campground. BC of the pets, leaving the windows open isn't really an option. It just gets too hot for them when we aren't there. Thanks!

I have a Bounder not a Classic. The sensor is still mounted in a warm spot new the driver on overhead cabinet on the side wall. I do not set the temperature by the absolute value. I set it to what is comfortable. Usually I set the front to 80 and the rear to 76. Lowering the front shades makes a huge difference.

Ideas for you?
1) do the same as I
2) Move the sensor
3) Run an oscillating fan
4) Park so the sensor is not on the sunny side

There are probably more but just some ideas
