AC Shroud
So I thought this would be easy. I'm coating the roof with EPDM roof coating and in preparation, found the forward air conditioner shroud in pretty bad shape. It's a Coleman Mach 13.5 BTU and should be easy to find. But when I do a search I find all kinds of confusing options. Can anyone that has replaced theirs, give me some details or a source? Thanks. Chuck

Cant help with your particular unit but do pay attention to how the foam strips on the underside of the shroud are used to seal the air flow that goes thru the condenser coil. Shroud actually performs an important function to isolate the hot air being pushed thru the coil from the cool side of the unit--really improves unit efficency if properly sealed....

Give these guys a try, they make all kinds of plastic aftermarket parts for RVs.

I know max air makes replacements but not sure for what units. You might want to check out their website. If they're as good as their vent covers, they should last.

I replaced my Coleman 13500 BTU with a Maxxair cover, I did have to widen two holes a little, but other than that it fits perfect
This is the one I bought
Amazon.com: Maxxair 00325001 A/C Shroud: Automotive
This was actually an upgrade to the old shroud, as the old one did not have the back grill and the fins on the condenser where getting bent, straightened the fins and now they are protected

I also have the Coleman units, shrouds from PPL were an exact fit.

I got mine at CW, took the model number in, and the clerk found the correct cover.

I know this is a month old, but I just saw it. When we bought our 97 Bounder back in March it needed a new shroud for the front AC, a Coleman Mach unit. I found one on RV.Net and it fit perfectly.
