Air bag question

I have a 1990 Fleetwood , and this is the first M/H I have owned. When I test drove the M/H it rode and drove fine, then by brother law was over and looked at and said do you know that your air bags on the front end or gone and you problemly need to change your shocks as well. So I order the Firestone air bags, and searched the sites for shocks. After talking with a few of the people here on the forum, they have been agreat help to me. Giving me sites to go to and who's cheaper. I also changed the front brakes now it pull's to the left, I only put 30 LBs of air in the bags.Should I let that air out to about 10 LBs on the front in air bags?

The chevy P32 chassis with the airbags in the coil springs use pressures of 55 70 and 80. Acccording to which front axel you have. The low pressures you read about are Ford add on airbags. Your bags will pinch at 10 PSI.

Fish is right about the brake lines. Chevy used a 3 inch wide clamp on the brake line. As the line aged it would swell. The clamp kept it from expanding and it would swell shut. The high pressure would push the brake fluid through, but would not let it return when you let off the brake. I would replace both front hoses. They are 22 years old and ready for the trash can.

55lbs. is the minimum. I doubt that the ride hight is what it should be. The front should raised using a jack or the leveling jacks to fully extend the suspension. Air the bags to 100lbs. Lower the coach and adjust pressures to the desired level, then check the ride hight.
