Air bags won't inflate

Hello everyone, I need help with my 1999 American Eagle. The rear air bags deflated while we were driving and I cannot get them to come back up and I have looked for anything that might be the cause. We are on a trip across country for a funeral so it it very important than we make it there without delay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you hear air escaping?
You would have to drive it onto blocks or park over a depression to get a look under there.
Are the front bags remaining inflated?
If you dump the air, does the front come back up again?
Does the rear pressure gauge show zero?

I was able to find it when I got under it the next morning. The linkage for the lever was broken and I had to quickly do some duct tape engineering t get it up. Now all I have to do is find the replacement part. I can't believe that it was made out of plastic. Anyhow thanks for your input.

Any heavy truck dealer, Mack, Peterbilt, International etc... or truck parts store will have the linkage kit, do a quick Google search in your area....

The part # is 48100225 Midland-Heldex
If you end up replacing the entire linkage, make sure you have the same length as that's your Ride height adjustment.

I bought this same part from Amazon, for my 1999 Eagle, used the original rod and just replaced the ends.

Glad to hear you found it quickly.
A friend at a rally mentioned his experience that this little piece of plastic could abruptly halt a trip. I stopped by the chassis manufacturer's booth the next day, found they were $3 each, and have carried a couple in my spares kit ever since.
