Air Leaks

Picked up our new 2019 Pace Arrow 38n in Texas and drove it home to North Carolina last month.
During the trip I noticed that the chassis heat was working hard to keep us warm up front. I made a mental note to check for leaks in the firewall.

Today I was running some wires with front hood open and when I poked my head under the dash I saw sunshine.
I discovered that there is a filter in the front of the HVAC box and a grille on the interior of the coach under the dash , that was the source of the sunlight.

This means that I had ambient air being rammed into the interior.

I made a call to Fleetwood and a tech explained that they (Fleetwood)had changed suppliers for some of their ac components and that front opening (with the filter) was no longer needed.
According to him the factory approved fix was to replace the filter with a block off plate .
I have attached some pictures of what I found and will fashion a block off plate today.
This is an FYI for those of you with similar Fleetwood products.

I've had air leaks near the fire wall on 3 Fleetwoods. Around wires not filled in, dash not connected to fire wall, pin holes, loose or missing screws. Around the A/C shrouds. Cold air coming thru A/C system when off.
There is NO insulation anywhere in the front of a MH. Keep all cabinets and drawers closed. Then main doors leak air like crazy, notice the noise when vehicles pass in right?

Found the leak pictured and one other .
Sealed them up and now all is quiet and draft free.
