I dont know the cost. It was on the camper when we got it. Its a Carefree Colorado, so far we really like it

On the paint, i will probably do the cream base with only 1 layer of blue with the same design.

Has an owners club forum been created? My wife and i just put a deposit on a 2011 American Eagle 45B. Its our second coach first one was to see if we liked it and we paid $75,000 for and this one add a 2. So now we have some anxiety to make sure any issues are addressed before we leave the lot. It has the 650 hp ISX engine....

If you're speaking of here on iRV2, no. We have the AC prefix in the Fleetwood Forum for AC owners to use when they start a new thread. We also have an AC owners group you can have listed under the flames in your user name/avatar box that displays with all your posts. Go to User CP > iRV2 Groups > choose the AC Owners Club logo > Join Group

Smile 2000 American Eagle 40EMS

We are new owners of our first Diesel Pusher and are in love with our 2000 American Eagle. Lots to learn but we took off with car in tow from Las Cruces NM and headed to the West Coast of Washington State to visit family. Then to Portland for more family and then to Pismo Beach CA....now back home this week. Great Experience and having a great time. Falling in love with the gentle rocking air ride and the humm of the diesel motor. Looking forward to many more adventurers.

We have a 2008 American Eagle 42F. Can anyone tell us where the A/C's filters are? Dealers can't.

Thanks

This is what we have in the front and with having to remove the screws for access and cleaning.
However, the one amidships, has a drop down lid, like you'd expect which makes it a lot easier, so what gives with the difference in the two?

On my Eagle there are multiple over head grills. Half have filters for intake and half are vents putting out cold air.

Our AC filters are located within the cold air returns. You pull out the small grill assembly with the filter material, the material is washable. We use only water to wash them so as not to leave any soap residue. Click here to view an image of our cold air vents.

Thanks Tim and all others who responded. We got some filter foam and cut them to fit all the round grills. Once a month or so we will remove and wash them.

Have a 2008 American Eagle 42F. Anybody know what the small air compressor in the front left (under driver area) powers? Mine has been cycling about twice an hour today.
