Just got a letter in the mail inviting us to join ACA. We've owned a number of RVs and joined a number of associations, none were as formal as this one.

Since we don't do rallys, I'm wondering if it is worth the trouble.

What are the advantages, disadvantages...what do you do?

Thanks.

We've been ACA members since we bought our Tradition in 2006. We find them a very congenial group, but if you never join them in a rally there is little point. They have an excellent magazine, but 90% of it is rally and club business.

You could try membership for a year and attend a rally to see if you like it. You might change your mind.

I do highly recommend you join the American Coach Yahoo Group, though. You don't need to be an ACA member.

There is also an American Coach chapter in the FMCA, but it exists primarily to hold two rallies a year as a preface to the FMCA Nationals. Not much value there if you do not want to camp with other AC owners at the big FMCA rallies.
