American Coach Revolution pros/cons?
Hello! Can anyone tell me pros or cons in buying an American Coach Revolution, I have been comparing this coach with an Entegra coach and it seems that the Revolution is a little more expensive then the Aspire but looking at the specifications it looks like the Revolution has a few more options included over the Aspire as it looks like it's an all electric coach, has the dishwasher, not sure if the Revolution has all of the night shades electric or not.
Thanks for your help in advance!!!

We looked at the Entegras before we ordered our '11 Revolution. Entegra is a great coach with similar bracing of the structure, but came to the same conclusion you have.
I felt the Revolution fell kind of between the Aspire and the Anthem. When all was said and done, I didn't feel the Anthem was worth the extra 20 grand it would have cost us at the time.
Not sure what year you're looking at, but there have been a number of mostly modest improvements made since '11, but that said, we love ours. We did have a long laundry list of warranty issues that we spent the first year getting sorted out. Unfortunately, that is not unusual, no matter the brand. The American Coach service department is great and they worked hard to get everything taken care of. (We are still having problems with our Aquahot, but the unit/model installed in our coach was used for a very short time during the
'11 model year)
If you have any specific questions, PM me and I'll do the best I can to help.

We have looked at the Entegras also and have come to the same conclusion that the Revolution is about halfway between the Aspire and the Anthem. I'm not crazy about the Revolution being on a Freightliner chassis rather than a Spartan. Also, the fact that American, Fleetwood, Monaco, and Holiday Rambler are all under the same ownership may not bode well for the brand going forward. For us the AC is still in the running, but I'm leaning more toward Entegra as being a brand that will still be there in the future.

I don't believe Fleetwood MH which obviously include AC products is all in one basket. Navistar owned Monaco, HR, Beaver, and Safari. These lines were just sold to a company ASC. To the OP, we own the 42M Providence one tick under the Rev, extremely satisfied with our coach which was purchased in 2012. the Prov. was 50K under the price of the Rev. In general talking with AC owners they will testify to quality, very good price point for high end coaches, that are IMO affordable. Above ALL the customer support at AC and Fleetwood are outstanding. You will not go wrong!

As it's just been anounced that the Monaco manufacturing will be moving to Decatur, I'd be more concerned if I were a Monaco owner (but not a lot).

Thanks for your reply on this matter, I'm currently looking at the 2013 and 2014 Revolutions, one question that I have is that I have seen on some web sites that the Revolution is made on a Spartan chassis while everything else I have read says they come with a Freightliner chassis did they make a change? Also I know you stated that all MH comes with a laundry list that will need to be fixed while it still has the warranty, did American Coach give you any problems with any of the warranty work? Was there any major issues with your coach or just simple things that have to be addressed.

If buying new Revaluation, get the VIP delivery option. Well worth the money and it will help with the little ticks that any MH will have new. AC factory support is great.

American Coach has recently changed to Freightliner. While many will tell you they prefer the Spartan, for whatever reasons, don't let that bother you. In both cases Spartan and/or Freightliner are hanging their suspension and drivetrains on an American Coach spec'd center section and most of the drivetrain will be the same. They have added IFS (independant front suspension) for the first time, along with the Freightliner chassis, but I'd not hesitate to buy another coach with a beam axle, if that's the one that otherwise met our needs and wants.
As for the warranty work, the American Coach service department was great. Of course they're in Decatur IN, not all that convenient to you in AZ, but neither would any other manufacturer.
Bottom line, we love our Revolution and I suspect you would too.
