American Dream 42s

I am new to this forum. A few days ago I posted a question but don't know if it actually posted! I am trying to decide between 2019 - Entegra Anthem DEQ and American Dream 42S. My primary concern is a four season coach. My research confirms that the Anthem is unmatched. However, will the Dream handle single digits without freeze ups? I would appreciate response from owners with first hand experience. I understand that insulation and heating systems are exactly with the Dream, Revolution and Eagle.

Well, I obviously cannot give you first hand experience....but since your post is an orphan (likely due to the fact that the current American Dream has not been around very long), I'll just say that even vintage American Coaches have good insulation and are well constructed.

Heated tanks for sure and no doutbt Hydro-hot on the 2019 Dreams.

Fleetwood is touting their insulation on all of their 2019 DP's, so I imagine it is light years ahead of our vintage Eagle.

We don't get single digits down here, but have never been cold while camping in the winter in North Florida.

You actually posted about it with four different threads which is actually against the Community Rlues not to worry they will all be merged into this thread.

If you click on your user name in a post or any one else’s for that matter the drop down window will show “find all posts by member” that’s just one of the ways you can find all past posts.

The Dream will do fine in cold weather. The Aqua Hot, heated floors, double windows, heated/insulated basement, foam insulation throughout work great.
