Bus versus palm tree...bus lost. Several doors were scraped, one somewhat bent. Going to body shop in a few weeks, but perhaps to prepare for the shock, has anyone had a luggage door replaced? Approx cost? I hope it can be repaired, but if it's like a car, they will probably replace not fix. Thanks for any observations.

I just had a door repainted after an episode with a pole that jumped outin front of me. thought they would have to replace the door, however; they did a fantastic job on repainting and it looks brand new. I thought it looked worse than it really was. Cost was around $1,200 and insurance paid for all but my 250 dedcutible. Lazy Days did the repair, great service, no issues at all.

Your door will be about $450 plus shipping, painting, etc. Fleetwood will be happy to send you one.

Thanks to all. Jmocral, I'm going to Lazy Days also. Very impressed with their service dept. They let customers interact with the techs, so you don't get everything second hand from a service advisor. Called American Coach today and the door plus shipping (motor freight) will be about $1K plus painting. Hope they can repair instead!
