American Eagle speaker wiring

On our 2000 Eagle the rear bedroom (on the wall over the bed) speakers are tied
to the front (dash) stereo. They are the "rear" speakers on the fader. I want to disconnect them and tie them into my bedroom Directv receiver or into the TV. Does anyone know where the wiring to these speakers is run? I do not want to remove a bunch of panels and try and squeeze my fat self into unneeded places.
Any help is appreciated.

Can you get the wires from the overhead and through the closet? I'm not sure of the exact layout on the 2000 but my '02 I was able to install a ceiling fan and run the wires into the closet, under the closet floor and over to my switch. Just a thought....

Our 2004 has a switch on the overhead where the speakers mount - ours is usually turned off. If you have this switch, that would be a convenient place to install a selector switch so you could use either TV input or the factory wiring.
