Antenna booster '03 Pace Arrow

I just recently purchased a 2003 Pace Arrow 36' motorhome. It has a rooftop sattelite dish, but I don't want to set up the dish for a while. When I try to use the wind up antenna, I get a message that there is a weak signal. Is there an antenna booster for this system, and if so, where do I find it?

Welcome to irv2. My Bounder has it in the overhead ( passenger side). It's a white switch plate with a green button to activate it. Here's a pic.

Hello Jwines,

I believe you have a booster that looks like an electrical wall plate but has a button and a red light. It should be located in a cabinet above the passengers side windshield. If you have it; push the button and the light will come on signifying signal boost operation.

Once you find the booster plate, make sure the light comes on. If not, the 12vDC supply to the booster isn't there. If the light does come on but still no signal, you can unhook the cable from your antenna and check with a voltmeter. You should read house voltage on that cable.

You have good information. On your coach you will need Winegards booster that attaches to your present antenna, exterior! Simple installation! Most RV parts will order for you or CW. Approx $30.00' really works well. Good luck.
