I don't get over here very often (IRV2) but I want to thank you for your descriptive post on the suspected problem...it makes sense to me.

I haven't had a problem recently, but when I do, all I have to do is turn the manual retract nut on the motor a couple turns by hand and it seems to do the trick.

Again, thanks for your post.

You're welcome. I always enjoy your posts. I like reading about your fixes to problems with your Bounder. I go to all the other groups but only post when I can contribute something.

Dick

Wow a lot of great information. I've had a few issues with ours and the dealer even replaced one of the motors. If it happens again, I'll try these fixes and hopefully save a camping experience from bad to good. Thanks, great advice here.

John, just wondering...what is the location of the jack have you've experienced the problem?

Gerry,

Our left rear was replaced about 3 months ago. Wouldn't go up and the error lights and alarm were going off. Dealer replaced with Power Gear approval the entire motor on that jack.
