Is there any good or bad to parking our motorhome with the jacks down? I've noticed several of our neighbors in the storage lot park their rigs with the jacks down and wonder if there is a reason except to take pressure off the tires and springs.

I think that is your reason why! Also I believe some may put a tilt on the coach to help with water run off.
In all the years I've owned a motorhome, I myself have never seen or felt the need to do this. Now my coach sits in an indoor garage, but it did sit outside in all types of east coast weather for awhile and I've seen no problems from not doing any of this.

Regards,
RovinOn.....

Hi PM,

You are correct; the jacks down take pressure off the tires, suspension and keep the body from possible warping and won't harm your electric jacks.
I've done this for three years with my 2008 Bounder 35E.

It's all good,

Steve
