Back up camera IMAGE MIRRORED

This new to me 2008 Southwind 36D has a back up camera, but the image I see on the screen is mirrored...
Had anyone else encountered this... know how to fix it?

Mirrored - ???

What you see on the monitor should be what you would see if you were looking at a rear view mirror.

The monitor I'm using with my rear camera has the ability to "reverse" an image. look in the settings menu.

Image Reversed is what I mean. But I don't seem to have a setting menu.

Model of unit would help. There may be a switch on the monitor or on the camera itself. That is an annoying thing when they are reversed.

I'm anxious to see how the 360 degree camera systems on the new Ford trucks works.

I don't have the model as I assume I would have to remove the monitor from the dash to find it on a sticker somewhere.

As was said, usually a switch on the back or a setting in the setup menu.

My 2008 Southwind has the dreaded Weldex CRT monitor in the dash. If yours is the same, the monitor case has a slide switch on the back to switch from normal to mirrored view. It has a small keeper screwed on to it to keep the switch from moving, so you have to remove the unit from the dash to get to the switch (UGH!) Before you go tearing into it, though, Waiter21 is correct in that the image is supposed to be mirrored (i.e. printed words viewed in it are backwards). For questions, help, and info, I recommend RVcams.com

My monitor is a Voyager CRT.
When I said images was mirrored what I meant was reversed. Not the way it should be in any case. Very confusing while driving as I like to leave my monitor ON while driving.

Looking at the photo of your monitor, If the monitor was correct, I would assume that the pickup truck I see in the monitor is sitting on the right rear, i.e. behind you, on the passenger side..

If its backwards, there is a switch on the back of the monitor that will flip it (page 11)..
