Back up camera lights

I have a 2014 Southwind and I noticed LED lights surrounding the back-up camera ( Magnadyne C-125). I can't figure out how they work (if at all). I tried every combination of light switching and gear shifting to no avail. The manual that comes with it is no help.

They are most likely IR for night vision which you won't be able to see anyway. May only come on in reverse or when the camera is powered on.

Yep, the IR does a fantastic job lighting up the rear view.
