Basement doors on 2006 Revolution

I have a couple doors that like to pop open well traveling down the road . Is there a fix for this ? I have tried shimming the backsets on the doors but didnt work.

I installed large OD washers on the catches that are mounted to the body. I then trimmed the washers to just clear the latch. This gave me a better grip and stopped the latches from squirming out from under the catches.

The catches are adjustable in and out you can also buy new latches on Amazon. Are you sure the plunger is coming all the way out behind the catch. On a couple of my doors I have to push with my knee.

I'm getting into the habit of giving all my doors a little nudge with
my knee. Can't hurt.

Ditto on a nudge with the knee. When I bought my new-to-me Excursion, the PO told me to always check all the compartments.
