I tried REV, no luck. I may have to make them...
Did REV have a name for them?

Also, thanks for sharing the photos and descriptions. It is helping me understand where some of the rust is falling from underneath the basement on mine.

No, just that they are not available. To be fair this was through e-mail communication using my unit number for reference. So, it's possible they have them or something similar for a newer model I just haven't had the chance to call and research further with them.

Perhaps you could fabricate your own. Looks like a simple plastic disc with holes. I recall seeing those on my 93 Pace Arrow DP.

Awesome job, doing it right! Would these work? They are a bushing for using pex.

I saw those. They are huge on the backside, made to snap into the stamped holes in metal studs. They would require like a 1" or so hole. I'm just going to make them I think. Thanks for the suggestion.

You should see how much a machine shop would charge to make them. It may be a better use of time to farm the job out.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually found some cheap ones at Lowes I think will work.

I was doing some cleaning yesterday and here is what an American Coach of this vintage looks like from underneath without the basement.

I assume your back was against the differential when you took the picture.
Looks like furnace ducts above.
Are those tanks running down the sides?
Where are the propane/diesel tanks?
That rig must look odd from the side w/o basement doors!

Yes, this is looking from the rear. The big tank front and center is the 150 gallon diesel tank. All the other tanks have been taken out. I originally was leaving everything that I could in place, waste tanks, propane tank, and fresh water tank were all strapped in place hanging from various ratchet straps and chains. I finally gave up when I realized I had to remove all the uprights and completely rebuild them. I should have known, after years of being a tech and fixing all my own stuff, I know it's easier to remove a piece out of your way instead of trying in vain working around it. Oh well, as I've said my labor is cheap.

I was able to install 4 of the 10 uprights today. Very happy with how it's turning out so far. And I'm my biggest critic so that's saying a lot , LOL!

Still hoping to have the floor back in place by New Years...we'll see.

Sorry for the crappy pics, I
ll have to get some in the daylight.

Looking really nice! There's nothing that beats the feeling of knowing you figured it out and did it right. Peace of mind and satisfaction all rolled up in one. Really enjoying this thread...
