Bathroom sink maintenance

We have a 2014 Bounder 33c with the porcelian pedestal bathroom sink. How do you remove the stopper to clean it? There is no access to the stopper mechanism. Has anyone found a way to remove the stopper? Thanks

Fleetwood said you have to pull the sink up and away from the wall bracket to access the stopper mechnizum to pull the stopper out. I did not do it this way. The round stopper top thing you see in the sink unscrews and you have access to the drain. I purchesed a drain cleaning plastic rod at the hardware store. You stick the rod down the drain and fish out all the mess.

Good timing on your post! I've been needing to clean out my drain as well.

Thanks for the info.

Good deal on unscrewing to stopper off the shaft. You can get a drain brush with 2 ft handle and a 2 ft hair remover tool at Wal Mart for a couple of bucks each. I clean shower, kitchen sinks with these items, along with scented bleach and never have a smelly drain.

FYI, when I had my 2016 33c I had an intermittent water leak from the sink but I couldn't get to the drain connection behind the porcelain pedestal under the sink. I found that by wiggling the pedestal it slid out from under the sink and full access to the drain and water connections were serviceable. There was no adhesive of any type holding the pedestal to either the sink or the floor and appeared to only be held in place by the sink. I did put a few dabs of silicone around the top when I reinstalled it to keep it secure.
