Batteries/heater etc...winterizing questions
During the long, dark and cold Wisconsin winter(why do I live here), I plan on providing contstant 30 amp shore power to my Bounder. The water systems and generator will be winterized and the unit will have a cover over it.
So, based on that, I understand that the house batteries will stay topped off via the converter/charger and I don't necessarily need to remove them.
What I don't understand is, what about the chassis battery, is that battery charged by anything other than the alternator? If just alternator, it's no big deal to put an additional battery maintenance charger on it.
Secondly, is there any advantage to putting a small fan on a timer to circulate the air...I would assume a heater (small ceramic) wouldn't be a great idea, since I believe that would raise the relative humidity and possibly cause condensation...please feel free to correct/comment.
