HI! 1st time poster and new RV'er since September. Have made only one trip from Texas to Florida without incident. I have a 2007 Revolution. Does the cowling around the batteries have to be removed when servicing the batteries. I also have a fixed tray and would like to replace with slideout.
Appreciate your help and advice.
Thx
DHeb51

Yes it will come out if you came get to the screws you should have gam batteries what maintanance do you want to perform I'm not sure all wires will be long enough for a sliding draw. Cover doesn't have to come off if you came get it off I had all mine replaced without removing it' just at tight fit.

They replaced the gam (is this the non-water type battery?) batteries with acid lead (I believe that's what they are called) batteries. I want to check the water level in these batteries to make sure I'm not running them dry. My inverter is just above the batteries with the cowling separating the inverter from the batteries. Just didn't know if I removed the cowling would that give me enough space to get to the back batteries. From the condition of the cowling screws it looks like it had been removed (I guess) to replace the batteries.
You feel like I will not be able to install a tray?
