Battery Switches 2019 35K
New to a class A. I have 2 battery toggle switches at the entry door. Are these the same as a battery disconnect switch, and why 2 switches, one says Aux.

One may be the starter/chassis battery switch and the AUX will be the house battery switch.
You have 2 independent 12 volt electrical systems, with a device to charge and maintain each, from the others charging system.
This should be explained in the owners manual.

Yes, they are battery disconnect switches. Main=chassis battery, Aux=house batteries. A picture of our panel is below.

Those switches are connected to a BCC. But we will leave you alone with that one for now. Many many threads on that and how it works

If you store your rig you want to shut both these off when you exit. The steps will stay down but the batteries won't drain.

I'd caution you relying on just the disconnect switches for storage.
Even if you disconnect the batteries with the switches, there's still parasitic draws that will drain your house batteries down to dead. Dead+below freezing temps=split batteries. Ask me how I know!
The best way (aside from removing the batteries) to truly disconnect the batteries is to be sure the batteries are fully charged & to remove the negative terminal connection.
