Has anyone changed out the gas springs on the bay doors under the slide?
The bay doors under the rear slide only open until they are parallel with the ground. I would prefer they open fully like the other bay doors. So I'm thinking about changing the gas springs to ones that will open further.

Most bay doors under slides only open to a 90* to side wall so if you forget to close bay door you will not do damage to door or slide.
They must think people will forget to close door which I'm afraid some have with bad results.

In the early days of slideouts, several of the manufactures used full opening doors under the slideouts. The results were not good. Almost every coach we had ,got at least one door damaged. We went to locking the doors under the slides. If you are considering doing this, I would suggest putting a label at the slideout switch. CAUTION:make sure doors are closed.

You may have weak gas struts on that side, easy to replace, try lifting a door and see if it lifts higher by hand before it comes to the end, if it stops at a 90 by hand its weak, if not you'll have to get a longer strut. Disconnect one end and lift it to a point your happy with and take a measurement of that length and you should be good. I have one that is weak and just need the time to get to it. It is a pain like that. Good luck.
