(Mod Edit).. It would be helpful if you'd state whether it is electric or hydraulic, and if there is any sounds when the button is pushed. Good Luck! rockin'

The obvious things to check first, are the safety interlocks.
Some slide controllers require the Parking brake is set, and the key is on.

Operate both of them to double check.
Are there lights on the controller...some flash a error code.

If there is no sound at all, check that the controller has 12v...you need a volt meter.
Check the connectors are not loose.

IF 12v is good at the controller, the fuse is fine....

Do you have a folding bed? If so, is it all the way up? There should be an interlock that prevents the slide from moving if the bed is not fully up.

Hope you have it all taken care of by now. I did have the same problem twice on our 2004 FW excursion. First time, I had both bedroom slides open while were getting for our trip. When we were set to leave, the slide on the driver side would not close. All 4 slides are electric. I was able to easily access to motor under the bed to bypass the motor and manually bring the slide in. In this case it was a bad motor. The second time the same problem with passenger side slide, like you it happened as we were getting ready to leave the RV park. This time getting access to the motor was not as easy. The passenger side motor in located under the entertainment cabinet and dresser drawers, very tight area to get to the motor. This time I had to disengage the motor to free up the slide and manually push in and block it from inside to make sure it doesn't slide out while driving back. The problem another bad motor. Again, hope you have it all taken care of and you made it back to where ever you heading to.
