The capert gets wet on the slide on the driver's side front corner. We cannot find where the leak is coming from. Any suggestions?

Through the hollow tube that leads from the Velvac heated/motorized mirror head into the body?
Mine had leaked enough to rot the mounting wood inside the body but had not yet shown up inside.

We have not noticed a problem, but thanks for the "heads up". We will check to make sure we don;t have the same problem.

I have a 2008 35e and have noticed the same problem when we get heavy wind driven rain on that side. I went to the factory in Decatur in June and they took apart the whole slide and it still happens, I was since advised to bring in that slide when heavy rain occurs. Guess I'll live with it as it's only a little damp and has only happened twice in six months that I own the MH.

We had a leak coming from where the front cap is sealed to the roof. There was a quarter inch gap and the water would get into the camper when then wind was from the rear.

I had a leak in my fromt slide of my 07-35E. I took it to my dealer, Media Camping Center in Hatfield, PA, and they said the factory didn't put the seal on correctly. Almost 3 years later it's still dry. I can't say enough about them.

I would also suspect the seal is not on correctly. Ours although didn't leak or leak that I knew of, however; I saw the seal was not on when I could see daylight when the slide was pulled in. Adjusted the seal myself and no worries as of yet.

Although we have an 08 Bounder 38P, we had a leak in the same place. Long story short and many issues later, Fleetwood Factory road crew spent several days redoing things the PA. plant left "you might say unfinished". As for the leaks, the 2.5 inch wipe strip was moved closer to the slide, a second bulb gasket was place along the back (outer) side of the aluminum frame of the slide. That puts bulb gasket to bulb gasket when slide is out. Also they ran a bit of silicone along the top of the slide at base of the top aluminum frame ( this would be the roof of the slide and the frame that keeps the slide from falling out) No more leaks even in the heaviest of rain and wind. We also developed a similar leak in the rear of the galley slide, I followed what was done and fixed myself. You might have to take off some wood trim to reach gasket area easier.

We also had a leak in the overhead drivers side front corner, found about 3 inches of caulk not adhering to TPO roof. You have to run your finger along caulk areas to check adhesion along with a visual inspection

we have a 2007 bounder 35e with i think a similar leak to yours.

ours was on the outside of the slide - at the top front inside corner.
the metal top was short a 1/2 inch in that front corner,
and left a 1/2 x 1/2 inch hole.

silicone and tape sealed the hole.
