Bounder 35K, Why is there fans on the front window?
I like the floorplan of the Bounder 35K however I noticed there were fans for the front window. Is that for comfort or is there a problem with foggy windows? I know in my little Toyota sometimes I would have a problem with foggy windows so we would put the A/C on full blast and it would clear the windows immediately. I know it sounds silly but it is a honest question.

I'll say, "both." If your windshield is seriously fogged, there's no reason why you couldn't turn those fans on it.

Comfort but I've used them more and really needed them for window fogging. Turned the one on passenger side toward the door to keep it clear it so I could see out that corner, otherwise it fogged up completely, had to turn the drivers toward the drivers window. The regular dash defroster vents just couldn't blow far enough or enough volume to keep those clear.

Haven't needed them for defogging but on occasion have used them to move air from the back when driving on a hot day.

My mom and dad drove school buses for 30 years and the fans are standard items on all of them. They look exactly like the ones on my Bounder. It's primarily for fogging in my view due to the difficulty in getting "directed air" to the windshield in such a large space. Comfort isn't too high on the feature list for school buses LOL

Current and previous coach had them. We use the fans often. They are a good thing.

Where can you find quieter fans to replace the turbos?

Here's a quick story about those bus fans. We all had radios at that time and one of the lady drivers (parked) got up and leaned into the front window for some reason and the fan sucked her hair into it and got her tangled bad. She called on the radio and yes it was bad but also funny. All the drivers herad her screaming and doing what she could to get her hair out without just cutting it off. I don't know if there were kids in the bus.
