Are there any 36Y owners out there? Couple questions for you all.... Does the bunk above drivers and passengers seat make wayyyy to much noise while going down the road, any solutions?

As in the drive-u-crazy squeak? Not my model but what I did.

The mounting to the raise/lower is screwed into the frame with self-tapping screws most that were over tightened in mine. Took them out and replaced the screws with bolt and nuts. Silence.

RRR, can you post a picture of your solution? I have a 36X with that awful squeak.

Thanks,
Bluedog

Give me a couple of days - if I can figure out how.

Look where the horizontal tube from the lift track mounts to the frame work. There is about 8 or more self-tapping screws there. I feel as there was more forward but will have to look.

Any ideas on how to stop the @%^($! squeak from the screen door? At least the is the DW's guess where it is coming from. I can't drive and reach it at the same time.

Yes, every little bump, sway, or movement creates squeaks and other noises to the point where i either have to turn the music way up or stop to pick up a chainsaw

I have a 35K with the bunk. My entire bed was loose and squeaked horribly. During warranty work the factory tightened it all up and been for thousands of miles.

Found the source of my squeak

I was able to isolate where the squeak is coming from on my Hide a Loft. It is between the vertical aluminum extrusion track and the coach wall. I am going to mill some wood strips to shim between the cabinets and the track that will be rather snug to see if that helps. I will post the results.

Thumbs up No more squeak

I made two wedges from wood and push them up next to the aluminum arm over the driver side. Stopped the squeak. So far I have not forgotten to take them out before lowering the loft.
