I can't speak for sure, but your 2002 should be like most post-99 (or so) F53-based coaches.
Ford provides an electric brake connector inside/under the dash. The other end of the electric brake controller wire terminates on a connector (usually one of two) at the rear of the chassis, usually inside the left frame rail about 3 to 8 feet from the rear of the rail. It's up to the coach builder to extend the brake controller wire to the 7-pin hitch connector.
The under-dash connector is a rectangular, 6-pin shell, with four wires into it:
12V Red
Brake signal input Green
Brake signal output Blue
Ground White
Sometimes there's a fifth wire- brown, for brake controller illumination. The shell has two rows of 3 positions each, and is grey or brown (I forget which at the moment).
The connector and wires may be wrapped up, around or through other wiring to the left side of the steering column. It was easy for me to find on my coach, as I had the dash panel removed.
Once you find the blue wire you should check for continuity to the 7-pin hitch connector.
etrailer sells pigtails that plug directly into the Ford connector; this elminates any splicing. That's helpful, as there's not a lot of room in that area to strip and crimp wires. Here's
a link to one such pigtail, for the popular Tekonsha controllers. The pigtail pictures also give you an idea of what the Ford connector looks like.
