Bounder jacks

We have a 2013 Fleetwood Bounder. When we go to put the jacks down on automatic three go down and level the coach. The fourth on the back drivers side only goes down half way.

Assuming HWH jacks. Is it declaring excess tilt? It will stop leveling if so.

Will it go down manually?

Is this a one time thing? Or does it repeatedly. If one time, try at another site.

Are they Power Gear, and can you put it down using the manual control?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

We have air leveling only so can't help with the jack problem! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I'm not sure if you have hydraulic or electric jacks. My electric jacks have periodically provided me with some real aggravation. The documentation provided with the jacks will probably provide you with some trouble shooting procedures to address the problem. If your system is similar to mine, there is a procedure to reset the auto function. Depending on the cause of the problem, try dropping that malfunctioning jack down using the manual function. If you can retract that jack do so, and then have someone observe that jack while you are attempting to extend the jacks using the auto function. Watch and listen to see if the jack is binding or there is noise right before it stops working. This will give you an idea if the problem is mechanical or electric. Don't be afraid to call the toll free customer service number and ask for help. When a major component pukes out on my electric Atwood Levelegs I'll change to a better system. Lippert bought out Atwood and tripled the price of parts, and no longer produces the controller board. Please respond with the manufacturer of your jacks and whether they are electric or hydraulic. That info will assist people with trying to help.
