Bounder Light......... mystery to me

I give up, this light is on the driver side between the slides on the commode outside wall, it is about 7 inches in diameter. I assume it is a service light for wet bay / night activity. However; cannot find the control to turn it on .

The utility switch on the dash works that and the wet bay and under the hood. It did on my 35E.

Don't doubt your word for a minute. However; that is the first switch I tried. The switch illuminates when on, so maybe a burnt bulb. Just knowing that is the correct switch is 80% of the solution.

I'd have to agree with Clifftall and NLOVNIT. That's where my utility switch is.
Purpose of the light, who knows, I don't have a clue.

Yard/security light

I have to say thanks to those who answered this question. I have been looking for the same switch but did not think of it being tied to the utility switch. I did not look further when I found it controlled the under hood lights.

I've heard them called scare lights, utility lights & spot lights. On our previous 5-r, one was on the right rear & the other on the passenger side, way up at the front. No rhyme or reason to the placement as far as I could tell. On our Bounder, it's near the roof-line, driver's side & above the hookups bay. That actually makes some sense, since it could provide light when hooking up after dark.

I still have a lot to learn on this MH. We sold our Pace Arrow Vision in early November and had no plans to buy until this spring. We knew we would not be able to travel until April / May, but saw this one and Had-To-Have it. Only way to learn it is use it, to complicate it more we must store off-site due to HOA rules. It is in like new condition and only 5300 miles, worry about the Norcold 1200, vacuum toilet and power gear electric jacks.

I'm not that familiar with the vacuum commode however you need to keep an eye on the Norcold and think about changing it out in the future. The jacks are not an issue if you heed the suggestions through this thread. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f107/powe...lem-53137.html

I have spent sometime wading in that thread, lots of info there. My rig was built March 2008, 3 of the jacks have the new band one has the tie wrap. Mystery, was it built that way, or were 3 repaired? The coach is spotless underneath looks like it was never in the wet.
