I have a 1990 Bounder on a Chevy chassis. I can't seem to locate the neutral safety switch. Can someone point me in the right direction? I managed to get my rig to start by using a remote starter switch so I am thinking this might be the culprit. On my 2005 Winnebago it was on top of the motor in the harness but I'm not seeing anything in that location on this old coach. Your help is very much appreciated.

I would check on the trans for a 3 wire switch on same side as linkage, reverse lights and neutral safety, or on top or the column near the ignition electrical switch , but has to have a way of being connected to the llinkage. hope i helped

Thanks flounda42. I found it and no power from ignition switch to the neutral switch. I now have the rig where I can work on it though. I'll try tracing the wire now from the ignition down to see where the problem might be.

Found the problem. A loose wire on the back of the ignition switch to the neutral switch. Fixed that then tested the neutral safety switch. Found a new switch at Autozone for $18 and the coach starts right up. Thanks to everyone who helped on this.
