Bounder or Open Road for Solar

I'm in the process of selecting a Class A for a large Solar Build project (This is for my company). I have settled on either the Fleetwood Bounder 33C or the Tiffin Allegro Open Road 32SA. Both are nearly the same in specifications but somewhat different in core price.

I'm looking for honest opinions and if anybody has a late model (19-20), I'm curious as to how your experience with them has been.

I think the bounder is built a little more solid. We were dirt bike riding family. The bounder was one of the top ones out there in the middle of the desert.

Hope you Solar Project is coming a long. Do you have a Facebook or Instagram account to post pictures. Chip

I have a 2018 Southwind, which is virtually the same as a bounder. It is my 5th class A> I have been very pleased with the craftsmanship and customer service from the factory so far. It is an excellent RV in the price range. The Tiffin also has a good reputation. If you can get a Fleetwood cheaper I would not hesitate.

Did you change to Lithium and did you move the batteries to a new location?

We were looking at the Bounder 35P and the OR 34PA. Again, identical floor plans, drive trains, etc. Despite nearly identical MSRP's, the Bounder came in easily $25K+ cheaper. I could not justify that price difference for slightly nicer trim and a fiberglass roof, buy maybe your company can. (?)

Good luck!

Not sure what you seeing. The link brings up a lengthy thread on my solar and lithium install on a 2016 Bounder.
