we are recent owners of a 2007 Bounder 33R. discovered at rest stop on recent trip that the rear bedroom slide had extended 1/2" and so pulled it in. wasn't a one time fluke though as had to repeat this several times as we travelled. Otherwise slide is acting normally. I tried leaving the slide selection switch set for the other slide, but this didn't solve the problem either. Checked the motor and brake- seems to work correctly- cannot move slide manually without using brake override. any suggestions?

we had the same problem with our 2007 35E when it was new - the bedroom slide would extend about 1" or so during travel. The dealer replaced the slide motor and it's been happy ever since. They said there was some kind of problem with the brake...

Steve,

We had the same problem with our 2004 Bounder when it was new. After checking everything else, it was discovered the frames and gears under the slide (bedroom) were slightly out of adjustment. It took a really little guy with wrenches, under the bed, and three guys pushing on the slide, but we got it adjusted and all has been fine for the past six years.

boundersteve, I had the same problem on my 2004 Pace Arrow when it was new. I called Power Gear and they told me to check the small lever on the electric motor. This is the lever you release when you need to move the slide without the motor, in other words when you need to crank it in or out. If this lever is in the released position the slideout will creep. I moved mine to the locked position and solved the problem.
