I replaced ours with lifetime warranty catches and replaced our compartment door handles from black to chrome(all metal no plastic) this summer. The cathes came from RB MACHINING/RV DIV. 661 274 1966. 661 269 3233. Www motorhomelatches.com. Around $14.00 each for the latches. I ordered the chrome paddle handles from Summit Stainless for around $600.00 for 11 compartment and 1 entry door handle. Not cheap but this eliminates the plastic failures. Last Febuary with black and grey tanks full from dry camping, the latch failed! Three hours later in 18 degree darkness I finally got the wet bay open.
