Hi All

I just purchased a 2004 bounder and in minnesota it was time to shut it down, I noticed a by-pass valve by hot water tank but I also noticed one in rear compartment by dump valve, could someone tell me what it is for and any additional info about this r v would be appreciated.

WELCOME to the Forum.
Mine is used to bypass the HWH when winterizing. This keeps the antifreeze out of the HWH. Nothing worse than STINKY hot water. If there are any manuals in the coach somewhere this will be addressed.
Safe travels.

Hi and thanks for the info,I have a hwh by-pass along side of the heater but this by-pass is in the rear of unit by the dump valves. The paperwork with the unit does not mention this valve. Thanks for trying.

The by-pass valve you're refering to may be to divert city water to your fresh water tank

The by-pass valve for your WH should look simular to this.

I agree with what bob109 said, especiall if that by-pass is anywhere near the fresh/city water inlet. That is what mine is on the 2005 Bounder.

I am considering buying a 2005 Bounder. 35 R. Do you like your 04 and has it been reliable
