I have DTV satellite I use in the MH when traveling. Most parks have cable tv. The TV up front is an analog unit and will only receive a few channels when hooked directly to the park cable. I get all of the channels on DTV via the tuner. If I install a digital converter box and hook the park cable to the converter will that allow me to get all available channels on the park cable?

You should get all the channels they offer on cable have you programed your tv for cable under the menu settings.

Like Rooster said, be sure your TV menue item is switched from antenna to cable, then you need to run a "search for channels" scan to receive that cable companies programs. Good luck.

I bit the bullet and replaced all my tv's with HD equivalents. No converters. However, you should not need a converter for direct tv. You can also get DNS or distant network service to get network channels. If you have the 27" Samsung in the front of the rv then there is a 31" phillips unit that will fit in it's place.
