I have a 2006 39S that has 11,120 miles on it. The oil was changed at 6000 miles, but that has been over 2 years ago. I am going to change it. Has anyone had any experience with Rotella Synthetic 5w-40 in a CAT 330hp engine? It is rated and specified for Cummins' engines. I am just curious if anyone has tried it, and if they have any strong thoughts one way or the other. We have cases of it at work and I can get it for next to nothing....but a good deal isn't a good deal if it doesn't work.
