Chip for C7 cat

Just wanting to find out if anyone has put a chip on a C7 cat engine ? I'm getting mixed reviews on it. I would like to improve my fuel mileage, but have been told it may cause the motorhome to over heat ? This is a 2005 Fleetwood Discovery. I do not want to do anything to cause other problems. Any advice would be appreciated

Look under engine forum for cat and you'll see lots of discussion on it. I have a mp-8 on my 06 c-7 no overheating problems, no mpg improvement, but I drive a little faster than most, great improvement in performance

Same thing here... Have the MP8 on a 07 C-7. I think I do have a an mpg improvement and a huge improvement in performance.
