Collision Repair For Class A Fleetwood

Hi Everyone. Need some help in finding a place to take our 2008 Fleetwood Discovery for body repair. I did some pretty good damage to the Luggage compartments on the drivers side. Pivoted the RV while backing up and didn't see a concrete post. Took out about 4 of the luggage compartment doors and associated interior bins. We live in Fayetteville NC and can still drive it for repairs. There are a few Camping Worlds nearby in Raleigh and Fayetteville....but we really don't want to take it there. Any Suggestions?
Thanks!

Body shop

We live in southern NM and just faced the same issue. We contacted a body shop that did repairs on a car in the past. They did a very good job.

Well, I've contacted a few places in town and one suggested that I give "Show and Pro" in Fayetteville a call. After sending him some pictures, he said he could do it. Guess I'll need to get some references of his work to make sure....

Don’t waste any time if you plan on having it done for a specific time frame. I just had to order a baggage door for my 2008 Bounder and it takes 12 to 14 weeks to get one right now from Fleetwood

For an 08, better to check with the salvage yards like Visone and Colaw.

I highly recommend Mikes Collision Center in Wilmington, NC. Mike is a motorhome owner and they specialize in RV repairs, including a special paint booth and large garage bays for big rigs. Has 50A full hook-ups for visitors too. He has done two repairs for me and we have been pleased.

Last May we had minor body and paint work done in Puerto Penasco Mexico at the Reef RV Park. It is about 1 hour south of Lukeville AZ, a very easy and safe drive. Very safe, no issues--we plan to go back just to stay on the beach for a week.

I know of 3 people who have had entire coaches painted, some involving minor body work as well. I'm very confident in the work quality both body and paint. You can send pictures for a preliminary quote (when we got there he reduced the quote when he was able to see it up close).

My quote stateside was $2000. I paid $500. Beautiful job.

Carlos Hernandez is the body work/painter. He speaks a little English. Gus is the RV park manager and speaks fluent English--you work through him. The work is done in the park. You can reach Gus at rvpark@sandybeachresorts.net It could take 24 - 48 hours for him to respond.
