Cool older fleetwood

We parked next to this in Winston-Salem. Beautiful complete restore job. Just thought I would share.

I hate that when that happens, We used to own a restored 31' Landyacht by Airstream. So we've heard this line ourselves, I think it's Criminal especially at 10PM!
Now we just purchased a 2000 American Eagle to retire in so I'm sure we'l hear it some more !!!

Regards,
Ed

What does age have to do with it? I don't understand why the age of the coach would matter? I just picked up a 97 Pace Arrow, are you saying I'm going to get turned away because it's too old?

What they are saying (I've been told) is that old units are likely to be safety hazards and cause more fires and accidents then new units! Hence a Liability issue the campsite owners do not want to pay the insurance premium for.

They have a point, but there will be more and more older good used motorhomes and high end Trailers and 5th Wheels so something gotta give :face palm:

Kind regards,
Ed

Yes I wonder what legal recourse a person would have, this is the sticking point of coarse, it is not against a person but against a machine???? BUT the person suffers the consequences!

Kind regards,
Ed

For some of you that are not familiar with the practice, there are some high end rv parks that will not allow older units in. I think that they believe the older units maybe tacky or an eyesore. That may be true when a dirty broken down rig comes rolling in but i personally would love to see well kept and/or restored rv's. Some are classics.

I had an 1993 Flair that was completely redone. It was beautiful .
When asked the age when making a reservation , I always said 9 years old. Never had a problem !

Just got back from staying a month in AZ. Before we could book our RV spot I had to e-mail pictures of our MH to them. We passed their test, but it's a very normal requirement in a lot of the RV parks down there.
