We have an 08 Discovery 39R and just had it washed and waxed after returning from Quartzite. On the panel area between the refrigerator vents there are multiple vertical cracks showing under the paint. Anyone know the cause? Fix? The dust storm sure made that trip expensive.

Talked to new owners of Fleetwood and appears I am on my own to correct the undefined cause. Joy of a used coach, never expected this problem.

Do you have a photo of the cracks, Alan? I have seen posts about surface cracking near one corner of a slideout, but I haven't heard of any near the fridge vents. Sorry.

It is probably where the panel seams meet.

I will post some pix. Seems to be mainly in the area between the fridg vents but I see one at a diagonal. The paint pattern seems like the big expense.

This is the crack that has telegraphed thru the rigid insulation.

Is it possible that something struck the coach hard enough to do that? What a bummer. I'm sure it can be fixed, but still $$$.

No paint damage so I suspect there is some sort of stress on the panel. I may reinforce the panel from the back before having it repaired.
