Cruise control

Just recently our cruise control all of a sudden went out. I tried looking for a fuse does anybody know where that would be? It's a 2013 Fleetwood Expedition on a Freightliner chassis. Other than a fuse what else might it be? The closest Freightliner dealer can't get me in before I leave the area so any help is appreciated.

Are brake lights working, I'd check that first.

Brake lights work. Brought it into mechanic who said to bring it to Freightliner. He did say to try the combination switch. Don't know what that is but does that sound right?

Combination switch refers to the controls mounted to the steering column. It's usually a combination of turn signals, cruise, high beams, called combination switch for short.
If he rang it out with a meter and found something wrong with it then okay, if he just through it out their as comment without checking anything then he's just guessing.
They do go bad, and it is the most used part in the system, so not a bad guess if you didn't want to pay for troubleshooting.
When I bought my coach cruise didn't work , ended up being a pin pulled out of connector on column. Think dealer disconnected on purpose so new driver couldn't use cruise control?
