Aye Cap'n. What was your outcome? I'm curious because my emergency start function doesn't work at all. Never has in the 8 months I've owned the rig and the PO's never tried it. Had a couple of bad chassis batteries during the summer and I could have used it.

Jim - You seem to be doing well, but realize that everyone at times needs help, and sometimes ya need to go to the shop. I need to go in about once a year for something I can't handle, like genny probs. If you get to the point of questionable confusion, it's that time.

My emergency start switch works fine. It's the charging circuit that's causing me trouble. I now have the troubleshooting guide, but can't check until I get the rig back from the brake recall.

Well, I got my rig back from the repair shop (brake recall) and did some troubleshooting yesterday. It looks like I need to find a replacement board as there's no voltage on P1 #5, which I think explains why my alternator isn't charging the coach batteries unless i hold the emergency start switch in.
One other problem I discovered is that F21, 15 amps, appears to be shorted as the fuse gets extremely hot and melts the plastic on the fuse before actually blowing it. The board says it's a utility light, but everything in the coach appears to function correctly with it removed. The schematic doesn't show what this fuse is for. Any ideas about F21? How about a source for a CB115 Rev D or higher PCB?

Check out this site, I have some information on your control box if it is from RV Custom Products. This is what I use to get mine fixed. I found the board on e-bay. Just type in the name of the board and there will be a few to choose from. Good Luck.........

Re Installing the charge wizard
That turns the 9100 from a "Low end single stage" converter
To an outstanding converter (BEST PLUS) in my book.
Re: The box.
On my coach I had a problem.. I pulled into a Flying J to gas (propane) up and hit the STORE switch on the battery control panel (This disconnects all the house 12 volt stuff like the Fridge, and Water heater, and the other flame making items) Gassed up.. Pulled away, hit the USE switch to re-connect 12vdc and... NOTHING.. Switch failed (NOTE it was the actually rocker switch, NOT the control box)
My first "Fix" was to fire up the generator using a jump start battery
My second fix was a jumper wire
My third fix (A couple days later) was to fix the switch... It is still working
But.. Some of those boxes are "Bi-Directional" this means that the engine charges the house and the other way around.
Some are not.
