Deadbolt lock size for 99 American Eagle??

The previous owners of the rig had some modifications made to make it wheelchair accessible, which somehow involved removing the deadbolt lock from the door. I investigated the door and door well to see where I would instal a lock and found that its all set up for one still. The inside of the door well has a gaping hole that has since been covered by a sunglass's case, the out side of the door well has been bondoed over and painted. The door has a deadbolt lock plate installed on it still (the part the actual bolt slides through), though the hole seems strangely small in comparison to the typical house door deadbolts.

So I pose the questions;
Is there a special sized deadbolt lock that I need?
Is there a certain place I need to look to pick one up?

Thanks all!

Need to measure the set back - edge of door to center of hole - if it standard size the ones at any home center will work
