defrost ?

I just bought a 2008 Fleetwood Southwind 35A, V10 gas, I tried to use the defrost driving home Sunday and it would just blow cold air. Am I missing something or should I see my mechanic. There is no smell of antifreeze and air blows hard just no heat.
I really like this coach and come from tripple towing for many years so have some idea of how systems work.

Do you have heat , when floor heat is selected ?
Engine temp gauge in the normal range ?

There is a water flow control that would need to be tested.

Some owners put an aux water shut off in the heater hoses to aide the dash A/C in hot weather ; worth a look.

Some units turn on the air conditioner when placed in defrost mode. Turn the temperature knob all the way to hot.

Thank you, no hot/warm on floor heat, knob turned all the way to hot, I will check for valve, where is the flow control located?

Heater flow control will be near the hose connection to the firewall side of the heater unit , above the radiator .
But , if a previous owner installed a shut off , that could be anywhere between the motor and the firewall; luckily on a gas front engine coach that's not far.
Here's a picture of the electronic flow control on my coach , some units are cable controlled .

You first need to determine who manufacture your HVAC. Early on Fleetwood used Denso HVAC with a blend air door and no water control valve. All electric, no vacuum. Not sure what Fleetwood used in 2008 but the may have switched to Evens Tempcon with a water control valve. Vacuum controlled.
