delamination
I knew when i bought it that there was delamination issues, but the price that i got it for, i figured that i could take care of some of the issues. When i recoated the roof, i scrubbed with the detergent that i purchase from our local rv dealership. I then removed all loose caulk and resealed. I then coated with suggested roof sealer. I know that some of the delamination, is not due to water infiltration. I have been reading some posts, and have seen bits and pieces pertaing to delamination on Dreams and other Fleetwood products caused by manufacturing faults. I plan on taking 2 of the windows out this summer and repair walls where they have leaked. Again, it's not the whole coach it's just a couple areas that need attention. Inside the coach there are two walls by these windows that show signs of water. I plan on stripping down to frame and replace those areas. In previous posts i had said that the engine was rebuilt by Cummins Northeast and new cooling system was also installed....This is my first class a and we love it. It's a work in progress, and i enjoy the challenge...Especially when my maiden voyage had us parked front row sight at Assatugue State park, and the ocean less than 100 yards away...If any other Fleetwood owners have seen or have delam problems please let me know how you tackled it....Thanks in advance...Mark
